(On Windows 10)Here is what you need to do after you install WIS (if it doesn't open):. Right click WIS in the applications menu - 'Open file location'. Right click WIS in the folder that opens up - 'Troubleshoot compatibility'. Click 'Try Recommended Settings'.

'Test the program.' A shield will pop up in the applications bar, click it and click 'Yes' (Note: It will not work when you test it. You may need to ctrl+alt+delete to end the task if it freezes when it asks you if you want AIG to be default).

Click Next and I think there is a 'use these settings' thing as the first option in blue text. Click that, then click next again. Restart your computer.

When you boot it back up, you'll get a window asking if you want AIG to be default. I clicked yes.

Go to WIS in the applications menu (it is under 'SAAB') and open the program. It will run like it should now.(Change to English). Open WIS. Choose 'Default' in the drop down - 'OK'. Choose your vehicle. Click the 'Verktyg' drop down menu in the menu bar.

Click 'Andra installningar tillfalligt.' .

Select 'Engelska' and your country ('USA' for me).(Note that you need to do this every time you open WIS)Here is what you need to do after installing EPC (if it doesn't open):. If you got an error, click Next then click 'No, try different settings for this program'. Check box 'The program worked on an earlier version.' And click Next.

Select Windows Vista then Next and that should work. No reboot required for this one (for me anyway).edit: Added EPC procedure and added 'If it doesn't open' as pointed out that it may work correctly out of the box (Thanks NOSS).
